The north entrance to the north west branch of a 'Y' plan tunnel system running from North Naaversgill to South Naaversgill south-west through the Burrista promontory. Intertidal, and the top of this entrance is covered by high tide.
Alternative Names: NS23 (N)
Notes: Length is 110 m using the NGRs of N1 and S entrances + 59 m estimated on the basis of N Thomson's sketch plan.
Note that this entrance is taken (by N Feilden) to be the one described in Report 1145, but whose lat/long location is not given.
Needs an internal measurement to confirm the actual branch length.
