'Whiskey Well' (spring) marked on OS Map, SW of Leven Seat (summit).
Alternative Names: Levenseat Well
Notes: No undue signignificance should be applied to the spelling of Whiskey. Map makers (particularly if unfamiliar with an area) have a tendency to mangle words.
Uisge (Scots Gaelic, pronounced Whisky) means Water.
Do not confuse with any other Whiskey, Whisky or Whuskey Well.
