Tidal outfall to culverted West Burn. The current outfall is relatively modern having been reconstructed during the redvelopment of the Greenock Waterfront but it is on the site of the earlier outfall where the culverted burn ran under former shipyards and docks.
Alternative Names: None recorded.
Notes: At low tide the full depth of the culvert is exposed with a drop of aprox 1 m to the level of the Clyde. At extreme high tides, the outfall is completely flooded.
