Railway tunnel, active (1847-).
On East Coast Main Line, running below the length of Darney Terrace, Kinghorn.
Alternative Names: Pettycur Tunnel, Cryin' Hill Tunnel
Notes: This tunnel was built by different contractors starting at each end and some miscalculation resulted in a distinct kink in the middle, very visible in the good old days from the front of a DMU and still causing a speed restriction. [Railcar]
