Site located in either a section of woodland or garden behind houses on Cumnock Rd, NE of St Joseph's Nursing Home.

No shaft shown on geol. survey, only an adjacent borehole 'Robroyston No.1 Bore' (located below Cumnock Rd) that encountered the Upper Possil Ironstone at 126 fms (230m) and shallower limestone horizons.
