Notes: Treated shaft, site now covered by residential building or front garden / drive along W side of A736 Old Crookston Road, just SW of junction with Gamrie Road.
Marked as 'Floor Pit (Ironstone)' on OS 6" 1st Ed., & annotated as 'Floors Pit 22 fms [40m] to Hurlet Lst' on geol. survey map. Possibly also used as a limestone mine, based on mention of Hurlet Lst in geol. survey annotation.
