Mine (Limestone).
Mine adit labelled at southern end of quarry on govt survey / abandonment plan (see links section below). This led to a relatively small-scale mine, the SE limit of which is marked by an air shaft at [NT 3776 6813] (now in woodland). Another air shaft was located at [NT 3763 6804], now buried below a field. See abandonment plan for extent (in links).

SW air shaft (at S end of workings) marked as "Old Shaft" on 1955 NG map, whilst SE air shaft is labelled as "Limestone Mine".
