Tunnel, Hydro electric scheme.

An 8.6km aqueduct system, up to 4.6m in diameter, collects water from 19 adits and brings it to the Glendoe Reservoir. In contrast to the nearby Glendoe Tunnel (separate site at W end of reservoir), this aqueduct tunnel was probably built using the cut-and-cover method.
