Mine (Ironstone).
Relatively small-scale ironstone workings, standalone from those of other local pits. Centrally-placed shaft site buried below Newhouse Drive (or adjacent parking area) at given coordinates, adjacent to small area of woodland that has grown upon the remains of an associated bing.
