Mine (Coal), abandoned pre-1881.
Adit marked on Geological Survey map. Dook passage from this point extended SE to a modest-sized area of workings within the Alloa Splint Coal that was also worked by Melloch No.3 Pit [site #11034]. These workings were roughly centred on ~[NS 9349 9646].
