On the sea shore at the eastern side of Cellar Head. A small creek, or indentation, on the sea-shore, which is deep and narrow. It is commanded, by a very steep, rocky, cliff which is about 140 feet high. There is, at its western end, a small, narrow, low, cave, into which, the water continually flows, and fills it. Signifies Old Men's Cave. [ScotlandsPlaces]
Alternative Names: Seann Daoine (Uamha na'), Old Men's Cave
Notes: A literal translation of Seann Daoine is Elder Mortals (possibly Elder Dead) so rather than just any Old Men, this most likely referred to ancestors or ancient people.
