Possible confusion with Lady Charlotte's Cave and that site has been marked as Duchesses Cave on OS maps modern maps however show the two sites as separate. Duchesses cave being 90 m uphill NE from Lady Charlotte's cave.
Alternate Names: Duchess's Cave
Notes: Both caves are names after Lady Charlotte Murray, Duchess of Atholl. Some sources call this Queen Charlotte's Cave but that is an error.
Modern spelling would be Duchess's as Duchesses implies more than one Duchess.
