This is a supratidal cave recorded on the current OS as a dot and also on the 1st Edition 25" OS.

However, when N Feilden went along the foreshore to see if there was anything in this geo on 10 Nov 21, he did not spot anything. He was not aware that there was a recorded cave and was running out of time with a rising tide - so may have missed a low-ish entrance hidden behind a talus pile.

Notes: Access: by sea and a landing. This was achieved on 10 Nov 21 by landing on a sloping skerry at NO 85218 74100 which was uncovered by the tide until about 13:40.

1st Ed 25" OS look just above 'Castle Hill'
Photo 1 shows most of the N side of the entrance to the geo/inlet where the cave dot is placed. Castle Hill is partly visible top left. The small cave a bit left of centre is "*cave S (S of Kinneff)" and in the middle, the entrances to "*cave W (S of Kinneff)" and *cave E (S of Kinneff)" are visible - close together.
