A supratidal rift cave on the Ox Layers, a little W of the Pintill Stone (a stack) . Faces SSE. It has an E entrance up a talus slope inside and outside - which is the nearest correspondence with an OS cave dot. There is an extension NNW to a small rectangular chamber which is mostly blocked by two rectangular blocks. There is a narrow gap on either side of the top block and a space ca 1.2 m above it.

Notes: Access: by land - walking across fields and then down the cliff from near NO 85095 73925 and SW along the beach.

OS 1st Ed 25in shows 'Cave' above where this cave is, but has an indicator line going off a bit to the right (E) where there is now no obvious cave.
Photo 1 this entrance is what would be a rectangular hole but for the grassed talus slope coming from the right which makes it triangular. A little below the centre of the photo. The south entrance is not visible from this location - behind the small stack. 24/11/25.
