Sea Cave. Accessible only by boats, 150 ft long 16 high and 12 wide. Overhung at entrance by fine sweep of basaltic columns. Looks like the gallery of a mine cut into the body of the island. The name Boat Cave seems to be a historic name but most likely this is a migration of the legends from nearby MacKinnon's Cave.
Alternative Names: An Uamh Culaidh, Culaidh (An Uamh), Uniform Cave (The)
Notes: Coordinates for Horses Cave similar to coordinates for Uniform Cave. The name may be a mistranslation. 'Culaidh' does means uniform - but relates no clothing not similarity.
Hydrographic Feeds: Sea of the Hebrides
