Mine (Fireclay), c.1960-71.
Relatively small-scale fireclay workings, complex layout of which is shown in abandonment plan (see refs). The only mine mouth was located at the given coordinates, now buried below grassy field. Workings are located E and SE of the mine mouth, are essentially bound by N edge of field in which the given coords lie, and are almost entirely between the mine mouth and adjacent M8 motorway.
