A chubby subtidal cave which widens on the NNE side and has a straight up gloup on that side. The entrance looks a bit like a lopsided 'Y', particularly nearer low tide.
It is quite likely a blow hole in a strong easterly as it is exposed past the N end of Yellow Ark (rock island).
Alternate Names: None recorded.
Notes: Access: by sea - N from Inverbervie or S from Catterline.
by land - it may be possible to see the gloup from the coast path - see photo 1 and photo 3. The gloup is probably in the lower part of the cliff, just before it goes up vertically.
Dimensions are visual estimates.
