Culvert outfall on the line of the Whiteinch Burn where it passes under the North British Railway Glasgow, Yoker & Clydebank Railway. the 1894 OS 25" map shows the burn running between the main line and the Whiteinch Branch.
The route of the burn diverges slightly from the county boundary suggesting it had been moved during the construction of the railway. Where it was not possible to reroute the burn it was culverted.
When the Whiteinch Branch of the railway was removed it is likely that any remaining open sections of the burn were culverted forming a longer culvert continuing to the Clyde. However it appears from aerial photographs that there may be an open section surviving between the housing and the railway.
