Generic. 11 km NNE of Pitlochry. A few caves found about ¾ km SE of loch. From Pitlochry take A924 toward Kirkmichael, after 8.5 km (5.3 miles), a couple of hundred metres after road descends into Glen Brerachan, is a lay by. Follow track from here to footbridge on Brerachan Water. On east bank head upstream & gain height rather than stay close to water. About 6 km from road are obvious limestone outcrops on both sides of the river with prominent knoll to W. 0.5 km further upstream river divides, eastern branch leads via shallow gulley to Blaeberry Resurgence.
See also Shakehole Cave, Stream Sink & Vertical Dig.
Limestones extend south-west to Stac nan Bodach (672 m). Many small shakeholes but [other than 4 caves mentioned] no enterable passage found. Any passage likely to be shallow & prone to collapse.
