Generic. Part of the RSPB Fowlsheugh Nature Preserve. The cliff top location is quite stunning and the views are well worth the effort of the short walk in to admire them.

There are are a number of large sea caves at the bottom of the cliffs, and waterfalls and the cliffs faces are literally studded with thousands of nesting sea birds.

Most of the sea caves can not be seen from the coastal path and are best visited by boat eg kayak from Catterline harbour. You may also be able to get a trip from Stonehaven.

Alternative Names: None recorded.

Notes: The village of Crawton was abandoned by its inhabitants in 1929.
