A cavern or alcove in the top half of the cliff. It has a small burn flowing in wet weather. Probably one of 'Hog's Holes' = "Some natural crevices, in the face of Fowls Hugh cliff near Crawton Ness. "
There are a number of these, mostly well above sea level, in the cliffs between here and north to Trough Cove.
