Mine (Ironstone), 19th Century.
Active in 1858, but abandoned by 1896. Site of adit situated within woodland on N side of Avon Water. MRA map suggests an additonal adit is present a short distance to the SE at ca. [NS 7585 4770].

Notes: Labelled 'Ironstone Mine' on OS 1st Ed., but absent from 2nd Ed. (1897).
