Cave below Bealach Farm in deep pool in Salachan Burn, twin entrances under overhang. Both 4 m going nowhere, prone to choking with flood debris. At foot of limestone band from Achvlair where entrance to solution widened choked joints.
Alternative Names: Caster and Bollux Caves, Castor and Pollux caves
Notes: Reference to greco-Roman Astrological twins but recorded cave name has scatalogical varient. Castor and Bollux is the correct name.
Salachan Glen is close to the boundary with Argyllshire but is in Invernessshire.
