Cave on opposite side of gorge below forest gate & car park, easily missed 1 ½ m square hole enters meandering passage with sharp flaked & solutional features. Makeshift ladder evidence of previous visitors. Illegible initials & dates at end of cave. Main passage divides at top; to left, 6 m aven to 6 m of passage becoming too tight, to right, short climb & traverse (Thing's Despair) crosses lower passage to 3 m aven to 10m long tightening bedding plane.
