Amongst boulders and outcrop, a shelter has been created beneath a massive rock. The shelter is defined by a crudely built wall standing up to 1.3m in height over eight courses and is broken on the E by a gap for an entrance. Within the interior, two areas of reddened soil and burnt stones indicate the positions of hearths. A wall noted by Mary Harman in the 1970s downslope to the NE was not located on the date of visit.
