This just subtidal cave is smaller than the outer chamber of the (W) cave, curves a bit to the right and is rounded and low. It has an apse in a similar way to SC3 (Fowlsheugh) and to the inner chamber of Bruin Cove.

Notes: Access: by sea eg from Gardenstown at most tide levels above lowest springs low.

OS 1st Ed 25" shows one cave named Booth's Clock. There are, in fact, two caves close together in the mapped location.
Photo 1 taken on 31 May 21 shows the entrances of both caves near high water.
Photo 2 a similar picture on 8 June 21 from closer and near to low water.
Photo 3 shows the inside from just outside the entrance near LW.
Photo 4 inside on 31 May 21, near HW. It looked at that time as if there might be an inner cave - but it turned out to be a small apse - see photo 5.
Photo 5 inside on 8 June 21, near LW. Shows the apse with joints at each side which contribute to its formation. In addition there is probably an effect by which waves are focussed by the walls on either side and meeting each other at or near the apse.
