A tall rift cave which runs ca SSE through a headland on the S side of a geo which is at the N end of Murray Heugh and just to the SW of Green Slough. It is navigable as far as this entrance in the top half of the tide and low swell from this end, but the way further in is narrow, a bit wriggly and ends in a low boulder pile - see photo 3. It may be navigable end to end on a high springs tide.

Alternative Names: None recorded.

Notes: Access: By sea south from Newtonhill Bay. Note that you should park W of the railway viaduct so that wheels are helpful for a 500 m tow.

This entrance is probably visible from the cliffs around the geo.

Length from entrance NGRs. VR & Alt are visual estimates.
