A rift cave which is intertidal from its WNW facing entrance. The rift narrows towards the SE entrance. There is a wide NE entrance which is supratidal. The WNW entrance widens inside then stops about 15m inside at some wave cut platform horizontal layers.

Notes: Access: by sea NW from Mill Shore or Pennan, or New Aberdour or E from Gardenstown.

Photo 2 shows the SE entrance with light from the WNW entrance shining through. The cliff face follows the rift plane and is considerably overhanging. Tide level about 3.3 m ACD. Taken 13/9/25.
