Old Shaft marked on 1901 OS background map, indicated as Abandoned Shaft, No. 2, on Geological Survey map.
A collapse at this shaft in August 2026 revealed an open hole measuring ca. 5-6m wide (beside a car dealership portacabin) that was promptly filled with stone by the MRA.
