Culvert inlet on the line of the Brothie Burn or Alloa Burn, on the site of the Old Bridge or Auld Brig which crossed the Alloa Burn from the Town to the Town Green. Before 1899, Kilncraigs (Woollen) Factory built a massive building south of the bridge.
