Urquhart Quarry marked on 6" OS map, worked white sandstone during the mid- & late-19th century. This locality has been landscaped / infilled and no surface expression of these workings remain where the site has been returned to agriculture.
Alternative Names: None recorded.
Notes: The quarry was also the site of Jeannie Pit (an abandoned ironstone mine shaft) & was near-contiguous with Berrylaw Quarry to the W (separated by land boundary).
