An only just intertidal cave with a rectangular entrance rotated ca 8 degrees E at top, facing E by N. On 7 Jul 22, I had the impression that it curves left inside.

In photo 1 it looks as if the lintel layer above might be a granite sill. The BGS overlay has granite about 85 m to the W.

This cave has not been entered or measured. Length above is a visual minimum estimate.

Photo 1 looking at entrance on 7 July 22 at 19:29 BST when the tide level was 3.3 m ACD. The maximum tide level can reach 4.8 m. Note the layer above the cave entrance. It shows no internal layers, but the rock above and below show metasedimentary layers. It would require an up close look to confirm the presence of a granite sill.
Photo 2 zoomed version of photo 1. If it is granite sill above, it looks as if it has flowed down to form the left side of the entrance. Note also a thinner and quite wobbly bit of coloured rock going diagonally left from the top of the possible sill.
