A fine intertidal cave with near vertical rifts which converge downwards above the ceiling, forming a wedge. Faces NNW. Entrance width is 5.5 m near HW level.
It is unusually long for a sea-cave in Dalradian metasediment.
Alternative Names: None recorded.
Notes: Access: by sea e.g. east from Tarlair beach, E of Macduff near high tide, or west from Gardenstown.
Measured 6/8/24 by N Feilden, using LDM and depth tape. Length by 3 readings so may be some overlap. Needs a beach landing inside to check for any extensions. Alt is ACD.
