Coves of Mull Cleave (2)

A supratidal cave in the W corner of the beach, facing NE by E (056), under about 3 m of overhand. Width at 3m in is 6.5 m, and floor to ceiling there is 4.3 m.

Notes: Access: by sea E from Tarlair, Macduff or west from Gardenstown and a landing; better at half tide.

Photo 6 looking inside from about 12 m inside. The tunnel can be seen turning left (SW). There was a remarkable amount of flotsam, including some sort of cooker or similar. There was what looked like a part of an agricultural trailer chassis. Very careful movement required.

Photo 8 the end of the tunnel. Some silver sparkles on the left.
Photo 9 looking back towards the entrance over a sea of flotsam. Perhaps some over cliff waste disposal ?
