Concrete culvert outfall south on the line of the Garscadden Burn (through the Garscadden Burn Park), south of Southdeen Avenue.
Downstream of the relatively narrow channel of the burn has been opened out to form wide flood zones with the steeper banks further from the stream. Bunds across the stream restrict the flow and in flood conditions four large ponds form.
The wetland habitat is designated a City Wide Site of Importance for Nature Conservation.
Alternative Names: None recorded.
Hydrographic Feeds: Garscadden Burn
