Mine (Coal), early 20th cent.
Site of now-buried coal mine adit mouth that formed part of the Little Raith (Loch-head) Colliery. The adit, which extends NW as a road in the Lochgelly Parrot Coal, reached a short level stone mine accessing the eastern part of an extensive area of longwall workings in the Duddie Davy Coal seam. See mine plan S343.
