A means of access to and from the beach which is about 100 m to the E of the old Coastguard lookout tower. It is easier to find (from the beach) and less strenuous than the Lummie.

Notes: The high tide comes up to the base of The Steps - so it is best to use them in the lower part of the tide and while it is ebbing. See, for instance, tides4fishing.com/uk/scotland/covesea
Note that you should check the state of the rope if you want to use it.
