A supratidal cave just W of the end of path down from E. The low part has a roughly half round plan, squashed to the right (WSW), at beach level. Its ceiling is a horsehoe plan because the cliff above has an indent, with a layer with holes that are wider than they are high.

The low part is 12 m wide and indented 3.7 m in the middle. It is 1.3 m high in the middle.

Alternative Names: None recorded.

Notes: Access: Either W from Covesea village, or E from the old Coastguard lookout to a point near NJ 18513 70919 where the path goes W for 170 m or so to a lower path, from which you can go either way, but in this case W and in the bottom half of the tide. This cave is at the end of the sloping down path and you have to go a bit seaward where there are natural steps - as the direct drop is a bit too much.

Altitude is ACD and is a visual estimate.
