Turntrough Cove S

An intertidal, double rift seacave with a steep pebble beach. It faces east by north.

It has two small extension rift tunnels at the end - one 5.2 m long on the left (S) and one on the right 2.9 m long.

Photo 2 shows the entrance from fairly close, near HW on 2 July 19.
Photo 3 was taken looking out of the entrance, near LW, on 4 Nov 20. By comparison with photo 2, the HW mark must be near the camera level of this photo. South Hare Craig is the rocky island on the right, and North Hare Craig on the left.
Photo 4 a similar photo to 3, taken from a few metres in from the ridge of the storm beach.
Photo 5 from the same place as photo 4, looking at the end of the cave and showing the two extension tunnels.
Photo 6 is a closeup of the shorter N extension tunnel. There is some flowstone on the right side particularly.
