A subtidal sea cave system consisting of two straight tunnels which join like a T. The E entrance is the bottom of the trunk of the T. Wide enough to turn (>5.5 m) at the crossing place. S entrance at NO 88138 83154 is much too narrow in most of the intertidal range to be navigable by kayak. However it is navigable with a tide level at or above 4.4 m, at which level there was just enough headroom at the W end of the tunnel from this E entrance to pass through from W to E on 15 July 22. The width at the entrance is 12.5 m.

The depth at the intersection is 5m BCD (alt = -5 m).

Alternative Names: None recorded.

Notes: Access: by sea only eg S from Stonehaven

Not visible from land.

Length is mostly based on geometry from the entrances.

Vert range is an estimate by N Feilden. Alt was measured on 14/7/22.

Needs heights (could not use LRF on 14/7/22 because it was too bright to see the laser spot).
