Notes: Post 1856 / pre-1896. Abandoned bing depicted on 1896 25" OS map. Not shown on 1858 OS map despite adjacent 'Old Coal Pit' being labelled. Abandonment plan survey dates of ironstone workings around the shaft location are 1878-79.
