Duttfield Cave 5

'Entered by snorkeller 19/8/21. Rift entrance with a short (<2 m) impassable parallel fissure to the right (east) which may appear to be a cave when viewed at a distance. Entrance estimated ~3 m wide at waterline with ceiling ~5.5 m ACD. Cave floor at ~1 - 2 m BCD at entrance, remaining shallow within and intertidal cobble beach (>1 m ACD) in the back ~4 m of the cave. Passage length estimated at ~16 m. Partially illuminated at back of cave. ' [Report 1145]

This location appears to be 'in the sea' on the OS map at top right. This is because the coastline on this map layer does not match aerial layers - such as Google or Bing.
