Mine (Fireclay & Coal), 20th Century.
Relatively small-scale workings of the Armadale Ball Clay to the SE of the mine mouth, extending S to a point ~[NS 9565 6635] & linking with extensive Armadale Ball Coal workings. See abandonment plan (in links) for detailed mine layout. The site of the adit is now buried below a field margin.
