Rising on the south bank of the River Traligill opposite the confluence with the Allt Poll an Droighinn, northwest of Torr a' Challtuinn (or Tor a Caldine - rock outcrop or ridge of the hazel).
In wet weather, a substantial flow of water emerges from a boulder ruckle below a gnarly tree. In dry weather this reduces to a trickle. Some rocks have been removed to allow access to a short wet crawl but the boulders above appear unstable.
Alternative Names: Hazel Ridge Rising
Notes: This flow may be entirely within boulders infilling a deep gulley and while removing further material from the rising might be possible but could de-stabilize the bank and tree above.
Hydrographic Feeds: No obvious source.
Hydrographic Resurgences: River Traligill
