Cave / rock shelter.
Wide indentation into base of the impressive Eas na Saighe Caime (waterfall) within the NE corner of a natural cliff-bound amphitheatre. The cave is of standing-sized-height beside waterfall (crouching elsewhere), measures c.4m deep, and arcs around the foot of the cliff for c.15m. 'Snotalite' deposits abundant within.
Alternative Names: None recorded.
Notes: The shelter has been mechanically cut into heavily-fractured beds of the Salterella Grit* underlying a resistant quartzite bed (probably thrust over) that forms the cave ceiling. *assumed based on abundance of black flakes throughout, seen on fresh surfaces.
