Mine (Lead).
Vertical shaft sunk to the Poutshiel Level in the Raik Vein. A relatively shallow level branched off from this shaft. Crater & spoil heap visible at surface.
Alternative Names: None recorded.
Notes: Lead Mine labelled on OS 6" map of 1863. Un-named on abandonment plan x-section (AP12706.57) which shows a pencilled in possible continuation as far as the Gripps Level below.
