Small raised beach sea cave or rock shelter on the edge of the grassy foreshore west of Light and Dark caves towards the north end of the Flairs - the south part of Carlingheugh Bay (NE of Arbroath).
It faces 075 (E by N), is 4.2 m wide and has a half circle floor plan. There is what looks like a stone bench on its west side. There is a 10 m long overhang extending E of it. This makes it look bigger from a distance.
Alternative Names: Arbroath Cave [21]
Notes: Access: Coastal path from the E end of Victoria Park and then down to the shore in Carlingsheugh Bay.
Previously thought to be Hermit's Cave.
