Subtidal cave of uncertain length at head of geo, observed during v.low tide.
Alternative Names: None recorded.
Notes: Recorded by I. Greig, April '24.
Name derived from the Old Norse word 'skor' (rhymes with score), meaning a notch/cleft in a rock or hillside.
There is a 'bad-step' at the mouth of this geo that allows one to traverse the Creag Ruadh beyond this point. The same cannot be said for the next inlet further north at Hole o' Vat where swimming is necessary to cross, hence dry land access to this site requires a lengthy coasteering trip over an intertidal boulder-field and sharp rocks from the SW at v.low tide.
