Ironstone Pit (19th Century).
Relatively small-scale blackband ironstone workings, partially contiguous with waste workings from pits No.7 & 14. Shaft located at S end of workings.

Notes: Given coordinates based on pit shaft location shown on Geological Survey 6" map. Dalry Blackband Ironstone seam encountered at 30 fathoms [55 m].
