Mines (Ironstone), early 19th Century or older.
Labelled as 'Old Mines (Ironstone)' on 1864 OS map, showing track leading to what appears to be a mine entrance on the W bank of the Cameron Burn in Staylee Glen (given coordinates).
The 1st Ed. OS 25" map shows an additional mine entrance at NS 7707 7171, and another mine label beside a cutting on E side of burn at NS 7701 7163.
